Privacy policy
Effective October 9, 2026
Eger Family Properties is a family-run rental business. This site lets our residents sign in, see what they owe, pay rent, and sign their lease. This policy explains what we collect, why, who else sees it, and how to have it deleted. We don't sell your information, show ads, or use it for anything except running your tenancy.
What we collect
- Who you are: your name, email address, and phone number, as given on your rental application or lease.
- Sign-in details: when you sign in with Google, Microsoft, or Facebook, that company tells us your name and email address and confirms the email is yours. We never see or store your password for those accounts. We store the time you last signed in.
- Your tenancy: your lease terms, the home you rent, rent and utility charges, security deposit, late fees, and the repair requests you make, including any photos you send us.
- Payments: the amount, date, method (bank transfer, card, Apple Pay, or check), and whether it cleared. Bank and card numbers are entered on Stripe's secure page and stay with Stripe; we only see the last four digits and the bank or card brand.
- Signatures: when you sign a lease or renewal online we record the name you type, the date and time, your IP address, and your browser, so the signature can be proven later.
- Cookies: one cookie that keeps you signed in for up to 14 days. We use no tracking or advertising cookies and no analytics.
Why we use it
To manage your lease, collect and record rent and deposits, send you receipts, reminders, and lease documents, arrange repairs, keep the accounting and tax records the law requires, and protect the account from misuse.
Who else handles it
Only the services we need to run the site, each limited to its job:
- Stripe processes rent and deposit payments and verifies bank accounts (Stripe's privacy policy).
- Google, Microsoft, and Facebook confirm who you are when you choose to sign in with them.
- Resend delivers our emails to you.
- Vultr hosts the server and database in the United States.
- An AI assistant (DeepSeek), when we turn it on, helps us draft reminders and organize maintenance. It may see names, amounts, and repair notes. It does not receive bank details or sign-in information.
Beyond that, we share information only if the law requires it, such as a court order, or to enforce a lease.
How long we keep it
We keep tenancy and payment records while you rent from us and for seven years after, because tax and Arizona landlord rules require it. Sign-in details are removed when your portal access ends. Old Checkout links, sign-in links, and session cookies expire on their own.
Your choices
- Ask to see, correct, or receive a copy of what we hold about you.
- Ask us to delete your information. See how to delete your data.
- Disconnect sign-in from your Google, Microsoft, or Facebook account settings at any time.
Security
The site only works over an encrypted connection. Our database is backed up nightly and kept on a server only we can reach. Payment details never touch our server.
Children
This site is for adult residents and is not meant for anyone under 18.
